but really, thank you all so much! I’m glad you somehow find enjoyment from my mundane rants and periodic spams and NSFW flourishes. I really appreciate all of you!!

So now I figure it’s time to let you know a little about me! Although you can probably figure out most of this from my usual postings, here’s a little summary of myself and my blog.

Age: 20!

Occupation: Anthropology major/Japanese language minor at UCLA!

URL Origin: AugustusRex—-> I made my tumblr in the Spring of my freshman year because I had an interview for an internship (which I got and turned down, btw), and the guy asked me if I used Tumblr. I lied and said yes, because I had seen a tumblr the other day, and because I knew the guy who was interviewing me anyway. I went home and made a tumblr, so I wouldn’t feel as bad! I decided I didn’t want to go with my usual silly sounding name and wanted something cool… So I took Augustus, my favorite Roman emperor at the time (it was a pretty random choice at the time) and then stuck on Rex, like Oedipus Rex. I don’t even know.

I’m Nicole, aka AugustusRex! I am a half Japanese half Swedish/English combo college girl who is on tumblr way more than is acceptable! I love comics and cartoons from everywhere! I spend my money way too fast on fan items and will probably suffer greatly because of this in the future!
